Lento/VIAF cockpit status

Postby MaxLento » 27 Sep 2017, 21:48

Hi to all!
It's a lot I do not write here....... :wait:
Cockpit news: in the spring we replaced some components burnt with Martin Pegasus and upgraded from FCC2 to FCC3 with Arend, but we are still with the dismantled pit.
We left PS system to switch to POKeys, as in Merlin's cpt, work by Merlin and Gancio, but kept eyebrown and all lights on PS. Coolhand is now working.
It will come with updated PC and new installation of Falcon with Balcans scenery and testing in October.
Maybe only a public show in November, with Italian Air Force, after it will be for the spring 2018.
Heaven opened for everyone!!
P.S. I had little time, but I'm putting new wings, very long and white. It will be the final exam at the end of November.

Bye!
as always sorry for the bad english translation :)

update: sorry, pics attached.

Great new project Max.

And by the way your English is more than clear, and better than most of us here (Italians excluded) speak Italian.

Max. A quick note.

You are using photobucket to link to your photo's. It is FF policy that photo's are to be uploaded to the FF server. We want to keep posts and threads relevant even if the outside source goes offline or just disappears.

Please put the photos as attachment. Thank you for your understanding ;)

Hi everyone
our cockpit still lives !!

Lately it has been stopped but we count in this 2019 to take it to some events in northern Italy.
He will be in June 10 years of life andI work, and we'll have a party for him inviting even the guys who have it
built and which today are 26/28 years old.

I keep flying BMS 4.33 balkans scenery online even if I have little timebecause the real flight in the glider has me
turned away from the virtual ... but I'm completing a homemade mini-pit for recover.

My pc runs win 10 "cleaned up"I have three screens.
24 "primary, put under a second 7 "touch screen and a 17" inch for third.
on the second and third (which I added as a horizontal resolution) turn Yame64, in the small I placed iCP.
problem: the touch under all win application works great, but with bms no. someone has configuration experience?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDtn3_8ePhw
says he uses Helios software for assign functions to the touch. works well?
thanks for help and greetings!
Max

:gpost:
Again, your Desktop pit is an excellent example of how folks could quickly and easily get into Falcon BMS. :Super:

May I suggest you write up a bit more details on what you used to build this in terms of hardware and software? Also, you have a left panel that has some important switches. A closeup picture of just that would be helpful along with what each switch is and why you think that is important to have on this desktop pit.

Listing all that info would be good info for new comers. (Have you already done that on the Benchmark Sims forum? Even if you have, a detailed thread dedicated to that Desktop pit setup would be great for this forum and VP (if you are a member there). It would really help to get more folks into BMS. :C
I better go find my Monkey.
